Collection: Future Society

Future Society was founded by MIT-trained chemical and biological engineer Jasmina Aganovic, whose work sits at the intersection of biotechnology, beauty, and nature. The brand began with an unusual question: could genetic information preserved from extinct flowers help inspire fragrances that allow people to imagine what those plants may have smelled like?

Its first collection used DNA sequencing research as a starting point, then partnered with perfumers to build modern interpretations rather than literal recreations. The resulting eau de parfums combine scientific storytelling with wearable florals, woods, aquatic notes, spices, and musks. Future Society is especially suited to shoppers drawn to fragrance with both atmosphere and an origin story.
