Laura Slatkin launched NEST New York in 2008 after building Slatkin & Co. and creating bespoke home fragrances for luxury clients. She saw room for a fragrance house that treated scent as part of the atmosphere of a home, beginning NEST with a focused collection of richly fragranced candles.

The brand later expanded into eau de parfum, perfume oils, body care, diffusers, and discovery sets. NEST is known for expressive florals, fruits, woods, spices, and gourmands with clear scent stories and gift-ready presentation. Its perfume oils and discovery formats are also especially useful for layering and exploring before committing to a full-size fragrance.
